Retallion Character Profiles
The book that I am writing in the world of Retallion follows the story of four main characters; Verdell Townsend, Ashlynn Miller, Kitha Ambervale, and Robin. They all come from very different backgrounds but the whims of fate will bring them all together. Some have secrets, others hold nothing back. Will they be able to work past their differences to save a lot of lives or will they fail?
Verdell Townsend is the oldest of four siblings. At 20 years old he should have moved out of her parents home by now, but he hasn’t really had a steady job. He makes money selling the fish he catches along with some small wood carvings he does for fun. He dreams of traveling the world someday and seeing more of Orthica, but for now he is content with his simple life.
Ashlynn Miller grew up poor. Her family always managed to get by, but it was always close. She dreamed of becoming a Warden, one of the fabled protectors of Orthica that wandered the roads of the nation protecting people from the dangers of the wilderness. On her 17th birthday her parents surprised her with the funds to apply for the guard academy. Now 7 years later she is about to graduate and become a Warden of Orthica.
Kitha Ambervale, one of the Dyar has had a hard life. She lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her uncle Oraen. She grew up in the mountains and valleys of the Dyar traveling with the seasons. A few years ago she was invited to join the rangers of her clan that scouted new paths and sought new groves of Golden Cedars. Kitha along with the rangers recently found a way across the raging river that marked the southern border of Dyar lands. This will be the expedition of a lifetime.
Robin is a young man with many secrets, his past he avoids, his heritage he hides, his abilities he conceals. Lest he be hunted down for what he is and what he knows.
