The world of Retallion is a project I have been working on for the past eight years. For the past three I have been working on my first novel set in the world of Retallion. It is tentatively called The Last Storm of Summer.

Verdell is ripped from his normal life as a fisherman and thrust into the wilderness beyond civilization. Over a hundred miles of dangerous wilderness stand between him and his normal life. Beyond civilization ancient powers stir and creatures of legend can be found. With their help Verdell stands a chance to get home. A conspiracy threatens to end the peace that has reigned the last two hundred years. Ashlynn is caught in the middle of it. Will she be able to stop it in time or will Orthica and the rest of the world be in danger?
